Participants will have an opportunity to examine the early development of the brain. Explore the impact that positive caring relationships have on the child’s well being and discuss strategies for establishing close, caring relationships that promote children''''''''s sense of safety and security. Review the three types of stress and their impact on early brain development.

This is an Overview/Introductory training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers.
Prior knowledge or experience needed:
  • Work Experience:Professionals working with children under 36 months of age in group care settings in California.
This training will cover:
  • Relationships, Interactions, and Guidance
Early learning standards/foundations:
  • Infant Care (Birth - 18 Months)
  • Toddler Care (19 - 36 Months)
  • Cognitive Development

OBJETIVOS DEL TALLER
Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de revisar los tres tipos de estrés y su impacto en el desarrollo temprano del cerebro, y de explorar estrategias para establecer relaciones estrechas de cuidado que ayuden a los niños a sentirse seguros y protegidos.

Los participantes recibirán 2 horas de desarrollo profesional.
