This is an Overview/Introductory training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers, Home Visitors, Coaches.

This training will cover:
- Family and Community Engagement: After completing this course, you should be able to: >List /five protective factors that help keep families strong and prevent child abuse and neglect >Identify multiple strategies and concrete everyday actions that help families build those protective factors >Become familiar with the Strengthening Families Self-Assessment and explore ways that it can be used. >Understand what it means to work with families in a strength-based way
