The transition to Kindergarten is difficult for both children and their families. As early learning professionals, it is important to be able to offer support to your families through this time of change. This workshop will provide participants with a deeper understanding of what the transition to Kindergarten means for children and families. From the emotional considerations of change to looking at scheduling and routines differently, this workshop will provide a full view of all of the moving parts to this milestone in a child's life. Through interactive activities and discussion, participants will learn practical strategies to offer support to parents as they prepare for the transition from preschool to Kindergarten.
