This is an Overview/Introductory This is a training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers, Special Educators/Early Interventionists, Home Visitors, Coaches.

This training will cover:
- Child Development and Learning: In this 2hour virtual workshop, well explore UDL as a practical, researchbased framework for supporting children with diverse needs in early childhood settings. Well break down the three core principles how we engage children, how we present information, and how we invite children to show us what they know. Then bring each one to life with real examples!
- Learning Environments and Curriculum: Participants will design learning experiences that incorporate multiple means of engagement, representation, and expression.Participants will adapt materials and activities to ensure accessibility and participation for all learners.
- Relationships, Interactions, and Guidance: Participants will use inclusive teaching strategies that honor childrens identities and promote a sense of belonging.Participants will support positive interactions by offering flexible approaches that meet diverse communication and behavioral needs.
- Family and Community Engagement: Participants will communicate with families about inclusive practices and how UDL supports their childs learning.Participants will invite families to share insights about their child to inform responsive and culturally sustaining practices.
- Professionalism: Participants will reflect on personal biases and teaching practices to better support equitable learning opportunities.Participants will demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning around inclusion and responsive teaching.
- Administration and Supervision: Participants will advocate for inclusive practices and UDLinformed approaches within program policies and team planning.Participants will collaborate with colleagues to implement consistent, inclusive strategies across classrooms.
- Special Needs and Inclusion: Participants will implement UDL strategies to proactively support children with varying abilities and developmental needs.Participants will reduce barriers to participation by planning flexible, inclusive learning opportunities from the start.
