This is an In-depth training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers, Home Visitors.
Prior knowledge or experience needed:
- None
This training will cover:
- Child Development and Learning: Participants will learn about the following: Childrens executive function and how it affects behavior and other life skills. Better understand the critical role of cognition and how children acquire knowledge Strategies to support childrens development in their early thinking skills and cognitive development
Early learning standards/foundations:
- Infant Care (Birth - 18 Months)
- Toddler Care (19 - 36 Months)
- Preschool (3 - 5 Years)
- Transitional Kindergarten (4 - 5 Years)
- Cognitive Development

This is an online training/event. Please log in 5-10 minutes before the training begins to make sure you have access to the internet, video, and audio.
Attendance credit will not be awarded to participants who:
• Enter 10-minute after the session start time.
• Leave for more than 10 minutes during the session.
• Leave 10 minutes early before the session ends.
We care about your safety. Participants should be free from distractions that will take away from your learning and must refrain from driving during our trainings.
•This training does not supply attendees with a CERTIFICATE of Attendance. Attendees will receive credited hours through their registry account's Training Report. Attendance is updated 2-4 weeks after a training has concluded.
