This is an Overview/Introductory This is a training for Teaching Staff, Administration/Leadership Staff, Family Child Care Providers, Prospective Providers or Students, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers, Coaches.

This training will cover:
  • Child Development and Learning: Participants will learn about the foundational theories of child development. Participants will learn about the most influential theorists and their contributions to the ECE field. Participants will reflect on how these theories tie into their current practice as they gain a deeper understanding of how and why children grow, learn, and act as they do.
Early learning standards/foundations:
  • Infant Care (Birth - 18 Months)
  • School Age/Elementary (Kindergarten - 6th grade)
  • Toddler Care (19 - 36 Months)
  • Preschool (3 - 5 Years)
  • Transitional Kindergarten (4 - 5 Years)

This is an online training/event. Please log in 5-10 minutes before the training begins to make sure you have access to the internet, video, and audio.
Attendance credit will not be awarded to participants who:

• Enter 10-minute after the session start time.
• Leave for more than 10 minutes during the session.
• Leave 10 minutes early before the session ends.

•This training does not supply attendees with a CERTIFICATE of Attendance. Attendees will receive credited hours through their registry account's Training Report. Attendance is updated 2-4 weeks after a training has concluded.
