In the third module of this series developed by Zero to Three, you will identify the benefits of books, rhymes, and songs and other early literacy experiences to young children''''s development. Analyze and practice the teaching skills that promote early literacy in infant-toddler early childhood education settings. Learn to identify and implement strategies for extending and ensuring the benefits of early literacy experiences to children with limited access to books and children learning multiple languages.

  • Child Development and Learning: In this module participants will:1 Identify the benefits of books, rhymes, and songs and other early literacy experiences to young childrens development. 2 Analyze and practice the teaching skills that promote early literacy in infanttoddlers early childhood education settings. 3 Identify strategies for extending and ensuring the benefits of early literacy experiences to children with limited access to books and children learning multiple languages.
