This is an Overview/Introductory training for Teaching Staff, Parents/Families, Family Child Care Providers, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers.
Prior knowledge or experience needed:
- None
This training will cover:
- Health, Safety, and Nutrition: Participants will learn how art can increase interest and consumption of healthy foods in young children. Participants will learn about activities that connect nutrition concepts to art to practice with the children. Participants will review benefits of different colorful foods and how to engage children in conversation about these benefits.
