The California Department of Education, Early Learning and Care Division has recently released Inclusion Works! Creating Child Care Programs that Promote Belonging for Children with Disabilities, Second Edition. This publication is the revised version of the original Inclusion Works! (2009).
Inclusion Works! Second Edition is updated with new information and is an essential guide for anyone providing child care for children from birth to twelve years old. It provides successful strategies that promote inclusion and belonging for all children.
The IEEEP grant will be bringing you a series of 6 recorded sessions between October and April to view at your leisure over a one-week period with a follow up mandatory zoom discussion. Upon registering, you will be registered for all 6 sessions.
Each session will cover 1 to 2 chapters of the new edition that will be roughly 1 hour long. The follow up zoom session will also be approx. 1 hour long. You must attend the zoom session in order to get credit for viewing the recording. This series will qualify for the Inclusion Work force pathways
